Give Yourself Credit

This weekend was anything but normal. I had a roof leak which could not be detected as to exactly where it was coming from. It was a puzzle to all, nonetheless – life had to continue in the midst of the unknown.

Have you ever been in the midst of the unknown and something powerful about it caused you to entertain the idea of just stopping or giving up for the day. This is the kind of affect the leak in my roof had on me for some reason. Uhh, did I mention that my knee popped out of place this time last week so when the roof started to leak I was a bit frustrated and out done and experiencing some pain from my knee.

In this case I could have chosen to stay in bed and mope all day or jump out of bed, shower and jump on the computer to put some dents in a few projects I have going on. I did the latter. I’m glad I did…as I was going over my curriculum for my Coach Training class I’ll teach today I discovered I am quite a brilliant writer. The curriculum I had put together was impressive even to me. My spirits began to rise and think good thoughts, not about the hole that was in my ceiling for whatever reason. Giving me credit for what I had created was enough to empower me again. You should try it – it works. Give Yourself Credit

I said all that to say, YOU can make a choice at any given moment in your life to quit or keep it moving. Oh, I know sometimes the circumstances can stack up a bit and discourage you but just think about the things you miss out on by giving in. You would never know just what you are made of if you give up every time things got a little difficult. Give yourself credit for all that you do get accomplished in life, frankly speaking not everyone is up for the challenge of moving on in life despite the odds stacked against all of us.

Be kind to you today!

Wishing you be YOU,
